The story:
Some southern producer named Total Kaos claimed that Just Blaze and T-Pain jacked his beat for a song called "Sky's the Limit" for the Maino song "All the Above". Just basically goes through his entire process for making this hot song and explains how he didn't jack shit from nobody. Pretty cool to see how a track comes together in JB's studio.
Anyways, I'm behind by dude Just Blaze on this one. A ton of songs sound similar and people stumble across the same chord progressions all the time but only a small fraction of those songs ever get airplay (ie-my last post about The Dream). Also, Just probably wouldn't have lasted 10 years + in the music business if it was his style to just jacking people's stuff. Although he used to be a very sample-heavy producer in the late 90's, his music has changed a lot since then and he has evolved in the process. He arranges the tracks and also writes verses and hooks for many of the songs he's a part of these days so you gotta give him a lotta credit. And he's still one of my favourite producers.
