Rant #3: Britney, bitch

If you haven't heard...
Britney Spears "performed" (ie-lip-synched) last night in Vancouver. However, part-way through the show, she left the stage and didn't return for over half an hour, leaving the audience to wonder WTF was going on. About 20 min into the "break", a spokesperson announced:

“The building is awfully smoky. It is uncomfortable for everyone on stage, including Ms. Spears. Please extinguish all cigarettes – this is a non-smoking building, and the show will resume when the smoke on the stage is cleared.”
Strange...since the show opened up with a high-production intro involving smoke effects...

After another 20 min or so, Britney did return to "perform" some more songs. At the end of the concert, she did address the audience, or what was left of the audience:
“Drive safe, don’t smoke weed and rock out with your cock out. Peace mother fuckers.”

No one really knows what happened during that 40 min lapse. Some theories include Britney diva-ing out about something stupid, snorting cocaine or hooking up with K-Fed backstage. Many people left during that time and overall, the impression is that the audience was disappointed by the whole performance.

Now, I'm by no means a Britney fan. I support her in no way whatsoever and believe she has next to no talent. I definitely didn't even consider going to her "concert" but from what I've heard so far, this most recent performance only backs up my beliefs about her.

Britney most def didn't deliver what her fans wanted. Yes, we all know that she lip-synchs, but in the past at least she was part of a dazzling spectacle of choreography and lights to sorta make up for it. Rumor has it she barely even danced...
Next, you can't just alienate your audience like that by stopping the show. Whatever happened to professionalism? Or the age-old motto, "the show must go on"? If the smoke really was that bad, then grow a pair and tell the audience to stop yourself...if that was even the problem to begin with...
If she did actually just diva out during the concert, that's even worse. Of all people, she has no right to diva out about anything...seeing as how she's made millions of dollars singing songs that she didn't write or produce with her minimal vocal ability. At least in the past, she was essentially a hot, overpaid dancer. Now she's just plain overpaid. You can't pull that diva shit and expect people to just brush it off. These people paid a lot of money to see you "dance and sing", even if it's wack anyways.

Henceforth, I will be referring to Britney Spears as, more appropriately, Britney Bitch.

I hope that this performance is just another nail in the coffin for Britney Bitch's music career.
